What’s Inside the Fall Seasonal Herbal Box :

I’m so excited to share an assortment of favorite remedies to honor the invitation of the season to help us slow down, release, and receive replenishment at this time of seasonal transition — featuring some incredible healing herbs like St. John’s Wort, Butterfly Pea Flower, Elderberry, Hawthorn, Rose, Yarrow, Comfrey, Calendula, Lemon Balm, Milky Oats, Lavender and many more!

The theme for this seasonal box is replenish and nourish!*

1. I’m excited to be returning with one of my beloved products this summer - St. John’s Wort Healing Herbal Body Oil!
An incredible ally for pain, stress, mood and more and it is great on the skin for anytime or when we really need some extra support.*

And this summer I was able to procure incredible Tuscan olive oil direct from the farmer in Italy! So this is a very magical remedy with the combo of the potent herbs and oil.

* St. John’s Wort is simply one of the most effective herbal remedies for pain relief, nerve repair and general tension and stress. Plus this oil also boosts mood. In an oil (topical - on the body) format, this remedy does not have any studies showing it is contraindicated (unlike the use of St. John’s Wort for some when taken internally). This oil has a deep red color from the combo of leaves and flowers, and shines like the sun - holding the magic of summertime for us year-round.

2. I LOVE making this delicious Elderberry Syrup every year with Rosehips, Fresh Ginger, Cinnamon and Raw Local Honey. And these Elderberries come from trees in my SF community garden, as well as from Sonoma County.

* Elderberry syrup has become one of the most popular remedies for colds, flus and coughs for good reason - in addition to what herbalists have known for a VERY long time, modern scientific research is showing that these plants are incredible at increasing our body’s ability to fight off these seasonal bugs if taken at the onset or beginning of symptoms.

3. NEW - During fall its so helpful to boost your immunity naturally as we need it when the seasons shift. And I’ve made a Garden Magic Shrub Elixir to support us with locally grown Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano in Apple Cider Vinegar with local Raw Honey. These herbs are known to boost immunity, support digestion and support you as a preventative tonic.*


I love a spoonful in sparkling water with or before meals as a mocktial - and make sure to shake it well before each use!

4. By request, I’m excited to be sharing my Healing Hands Salve again with four amazing local herbs - Comfrey, Plantain, Yarrow and Calendula that are known to support the healing process of wounds. This is also a lovely moisturizer for hands.*

Notes : Put this salve in your medicine cabinet or have it in your bag or purse. Use often, and enjoy! The rich buttery texture that absorbs nicely will make you re-think your other moisturizers.

5. I’m excited to bring back a very popular and beloved facial and home spray made with Local Lavender Flowers from my garden, spring water from Stinson Beach plus Clary Sage and Sandalwood Essential Oils.

This spray is cooling, hydrating and calming. I love it on my face, and also on my sheets and pillows before bed.

6. It’s tea time! I’m delighted to be sharing two of my FAVORITE teas with all of you again this fall. The first one Blue Dream, is a recipe is courtesy of the great grandmother herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. It is packed with herbs that are known to relax the system and help the nerves, the heart and immunity - Oats, Lemon Balm, Hawthorn, Rose and Linden. Plus it has an incredible blue color from the addition of antioxidant rich Butterfly Pea Flower.*

Notes : Great to drink anytime, or when you want to relax! This tea is great on its own or with a splash of milk (I love almond milk in it) and honey, and is great with dinner or before bed. Also it looks like what I call “Smurf” tea when you add the milk!


7. The second tea for this box is a regular favorite around here, and a classic with Chamomile Flowers, local Lavender AND local mint (fun fact : This mint is known as Yerba Buena, and it is the mint San Francisco is named after!).*

This tea is delicious, calming to stress and tension - and it is great at night after your dinner. One of my favorite teas on regular rotation for a good reason! I love it with a nut milk.

8. NEW - It is such a gift to be able to procure local Milky Oats in their powerful “milky” stage in the summer. This nectar is incredibly effective for calming the nervous system (and the myelin sheath that protects our nerves), and supporting stress management - both in the moment, and ongoing.*

And for the first time this summer I was able to get my hands on some Sonoma-county grown fresh Motherwort, a famous herb for also supporting stress, the heart and women’s health (in perimenopause and postpartum).

I’ve infused these beauties into vodka to capture some of their incredible benefits, and made a powerful tincture that you can take daily or as needed.

This is a daily tincture for me - taken with my morning water, to support healing the nervous system from stress, and managing it better long-term. Also great for travel anxiety!

9. NEW : I love flower essences - a powerful but subtle herbal remedy that has been more modernly made famous by Bach with Rescue Remedy. Flower essences have been around for many many years, and they are an herbal medicine to help you connect with the essence of the plant at its peak.

I created this flower essence with a thriving Borage plant (known as the plant of courage) in my garden that was filled with blue/dark purple-ish flowers at the height of summer on a spectacularly sunny day, to help us connect to the courage we need to conjure to show up with our gifts and desires in this life!*

Notes : The day this remedy was made was also astrologically potent - when the planet Jupiter made its yearly conjunction with the Sun. This also happened to occur on the earth calendar holiday known as Lunar Lughnasadh (which is also connected to a modern holiday known as Lions Gate!). A time of the first harvest, and symbolic of the lion and the courage it takes to create/be in the world.

* Flower essences are wonderful to take daily to help you connect with the medicine of the plant at its highest essence, and they are safe for all to ingest. If you do not consume alcohol please let me know, and I can send you a tea or a nourishing vinegar elixir instead made with Lemon Balm or Mugwort.

10. BONUS : For the first few orders I will include a Tea with Enlivening Hibiscus and Greek Mountain Tea! A great combo that can be enjoyed warm or cold.*

* This tea is tart, immunity boosting and delicious. Mountain Tea is famous in Greece as their daily remedy for immunity and health support. I love it, and mixed with Hibiscus it is a treat - and also cooling on a warm day. Delightfully refreshing.

It is my intention help you connect with these beautiful herbs, plants and flowers as potent allies for our wellness and thriving.

All of these items are handmade by me, grown in my garden, ethically wildcrafted or sourced organically and locally as much as possible and joyfully created.
Batches are very small, and infused with a lot of care and often take many moon cycles to create.

I craft each seasonal herbal box at each turn of the wheel of the year to support you throughout the whole year and your life. I lovingly share the plants, resins and formulas that are coming through most strongly at the time they are made.

It is my dream to help us all deepen in our connection with these wonderful plant and herbal allies whether you are new to it, falling in love with plants all over again, or deeply steeped in the green realm. I encourage you to “commune with” each creation in the box - and feel into the essence of the plant and remedy itself.
